He also participated in the co-writing of La Jaula de Oro (Diego Quemada-Diez, 2013), a film that debuted in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and for which he won the Ariel for Best Original Screenplay together with Gibrán Ramírez.
