Her appearance in that revue led to her being cast in her first movie role, in I Married an Angel (1942), starring Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald. She was under contract to both RKO and Republic Studios during the 1940s, including several appearances as Tess Trueheart in the Dick Tracy series, and the 1944 Frank Sinatra musical Step Lively. She also appeared in the horror comedy Zombies on Broadway with Wally Brown and Alan Carney in 1945 and starred in Riffraff with Pat O'Brien two years later. Jeffreys also appeared in a number of western films and as bank robber John Dillinger's moll in 1945's Dillinger.\n\nDescription above from the Wikipedia article Anne Jeffreys, licensed under CC-BY-SA, full list of contributors on Wikipedia.","1923-01-26","2017-09-27",1,null,93718,"nm0420331","Acting","Anne Jeffreys","Goldsboro, North Carolina, United States",1.0053,"\u002FoJZIwtwEMODqek3dxSTjBJ4aF6T.jpg",{"cast":20,"crew":959},[21,39,53,68,82,97,111,124,138,151,162,174,187,198,211,224,235,248,260,271,283,295,306,318,329,340,351,362,373,385,396,407,419,430,442,453,465,477,490,502,510,521,539,553,566,581,598,612,625,638,651,663,675,687,699,711,724,737,748,760,774,783,798,810,823,836,850,863,877,892,906,920,934,948],{"adult":4,"backdrop_path":22,"genre_ids":23,"id":27,"title":28,"original_language":29,"original_title":28,"overview":30,"popularity":31,"poster_path":32,"release_date":33,"softcore":4,"video":4,"vote_average":34,"vote_count":10,"character":35,"credit_id":36,"order":37,"media_type":38},"\u002Fzjh2Mn3r0DKz35qI6vOyBfN5BnJ.jpg",[24,25,26],35,18,10402,877790,"The Old Homestead","en","In this entry in the \"Weaver Family\" series, the town of Farmington is being plagued by a crime wave.
