Kinskey is best known for his role as Sascha in the film Casablanca (1942).

Kinskey was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He fled the Russian Revolution and acted on stage in Europe and South America before arriving in New York City in 1921. He joined the road production of Al Jolson's musical Wonder Bar, before making his first film appearance, in the 1932 Trouble in Paradise. His looks and accent helped him land supporting roles in numerous movies, including Duck Soup and Nothing Sacred, and on television, well into the 1960s. It is said that he got perhaps his best-known role, Sascha in Casablanca, because he was a drinking buddy of star Humphrey Bogart. Kinskey was in the pilot episode for Hogan's Heroes, but turned down a regular role in the series because he thought the subject matter was being taken too lightly.

Kinskey was married three times. His second wife was actress Iphigenie Castiglioni, to whom he remained married until her death in 1963. He was married to Tina York from 1983 to his death. He died of complications of a stroke in Fountain Hills, Arizona, at the age of 95.

Description above from the Wikipedia article Leonid Kinskey, licensed under CC-BY-SA, full list of contributors on Wikipedia.","1903-04-18","1998-09-08",2,null,4120,"nm0455893","Acting","Leonid Kinskey","Saint Petersburg, Russia",1.3806,"/e5WkDoFos1oolme2fbKNa6wgGqe.jpg
21,39,55,70,83,96,110,124,139,153,164,177,189,201,212,225,237,249,260,272,284,296,308,319,332,344,356,369,382,394,405,416,429,441,453,465,477,488,501,514,525,536,548,559,569,578,589,600,615,627,638,651,663,674,686,696,707,718,729,740,750,763,774,785,796,807,818,829,839,850,862,874,885,897,909,921,934,949,963,977,989,1002,1013,1025,1038,1049,1061,1073,1087,1100,1111,1124,1138,1144,1150,1165,1178
"/87wqeMeUeMRLjsE1IWNKJcPlpuC.jpg",[24,25],18,10749,289,"Casablanca","en","In Casablanca, Morocco in December 1941, a cynical American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications.",12.3764,"/lGCEKlJo2CnWydQj7aamY7s1S7Q.jpg","1943-01-15",8.138,6282,"Sascha","52fe4233c3a36847f800b86b",12,"movie
"/nVpp3ZcIFtJJ3fJp65eJczehIN8.jpg",[42,43],35,10752,3063,"Duck Soup","Rufus T. When star Andy Griffith decided to leave his series, most of the supporting characters returned for the new program, which ran for three seasons on the CBS Television Network from 1968–1971. During the final season of The Andy Griffith Show, widower farmer Sam Jones and his young son Mike are introduced and gradually become the show's focus. Sheriff Andy Taylor takes a backseat in the storylines, establishing the sequel series. The show's first episode, "Andy and Helen's Wedding", had the highest ratings in recorded television history. Sheriff Taylor and newlywed wife Helen make guest appearances on RFD until late 1969, and then relocate with Opie.
