Originally from Johannesburg, Dean started his stage career as a six year old child actor, and transitioned to screen at the age of 13 on SABC’s Little Stars (2013). Dean trained as an Actor in Theatre and Performance at the University of Cape Town while still working in some of the most beloved TV shows in the country, such as Generations: The Legacy (2019) and Rhythm City (2019).
