Then he was signed as a contract player at MGM in Hollywood. Lupton was lanky and handsome like James Stewart or Henry Fonda, but never achieved similar fame.\n\nIn the 1954-1955 television season, Lupton appeared in several episodes as a college student in the CBS sitcom, The Halls of Ivy. In 1957, he was cast in the ABC western series, Broken Arrow, which ran for two seasons. In feature films he is primarily remembered for his role as \"Sister Mary\" in Battle Cry and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter.\n\nLupton also co-starred in 1956 with Fess Parker in Disney's The Great Locomotive Chase. He guest starred on several television series, including ABC's 1961-1962 crime drama Target: The Corruptors! with Stephen McNally and NBC's Daniel Boone.\n\nDescription above from the Wikipedia article  John Lupton, licensed under CC-BY-SA, full list of contributors on Wikipedia.","1928-08-23","1993-11-03",2,null,30844,"nm0527017","Acting","John Lupton","Highland Park, Illinois, United States",0.9544,"\u002FxWN2nOktkUUwdKp2LIn6Hp24gr2.jpg",{"cast":20,"crew":1547},[21,40,56,70,84,99,113,128,143,158,170,181,195,207,220,232,244,256,265,277,288,301,313,325,338,349,360,370,382,392,406,416,428,440,452,463,474,486,497,508,519,530,541,554,566,577,588,600,619,633,647,662,674,687,701,715,728,740,754,769,783,796,809,822,836,850,862,877,889,904,918,930,942,955,968,981,994,1008,1021,1033,1047,1058,1068,1081,1093,1104,1117,1128,1139,1153,1163,1177,1192,1198,1212,1218,1224,1230,1236,1242,1255,1261,1267,1272,1286,1299,1305,1311,1317,1323,1335,1346,1352,1365,1369,1383,1387,1393,1406,1418,1433,1446,1459,1470,1476,1482,1488,1502,1508,1521,1534],{"adult":4,"backdrop_path":22,"genre_ids":23,"id":27,"title":28,"original_language":29,"original_title":28,"overview":30,"popularity":31,"poster_path":32,"release_date":33,"softcore":4,"video":4,"vote_average":34,"vote_count":35,"character":36,"credit_id":37,"order":38,"media_type":39},"\u002FmacLGPewy8OarjOYPjPOXa34uu5.jpg",[24,25,26],27,37,878,3149,"Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter","en","Dr. Frankenstein's Granddaughter Maria, and her brother assistant Rudolph, moved to the old west because the lightning storms there are more frequent and intense, which allows them to work on the experiments of their grandfather. Al was the producer. He hired five directors and five art directors. Richard Bennett, one of our first early presidents of the Pewter Plough Corporation, was one of the directors and I was one of the art directors and, as soon as we were through televising one play, we had lunch and then met to plan next week’s show. That was over 50 years ago, and I’m trying to think; I believe the TV art director is his own set decorator —yes, of course!
