His main passion lies in drama, where alongside long-time collaborator Arturo M. Antolin, he directed and produced the one-take short film ‘Ruth’, which was selected by Directors UK and ARRI as part of their 2020 TRINITY Challenge. The film was selected to multiple festivals in 2023\u002F24 including BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival and BIFA qualifying festivals Wigan & Leigh FF, Crystal Palace International FF, Brighton Rocks FF and North East International FF where it won ‘Best UK short film’. The film went on to win 8 awards including ‘Best International Short’ at Rome International Film Festival.  Paul has Directed\u002FProduced various festival qualifying short films like, 'Hacia el Oeste' (Oscar Qualifying Gijon International Film Festival), as well as producing short films for directors Like Tomisin Adepeju (Journey Mercies, 2023) and Megan K.
