Diego began experimenting with cinematography since his childhood, filming many short films in middle school with his little handheld camera. He then went to the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamón to study a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. Between classes he kept doing photography and videography. Realizing that engineering wasn't for him, he then started an Associate's Degree in Cinematography at the Colegio de Cinematografía, Artes y Televisión (CCAT). It was there where one professor told him about his \"photographic eye\", encouraging him to take that path. He then decided to take advantage of such talent, doing various styles of photography and also implementing his photography knowledge to filmmaking. Currently finishing a Bachelors Degree in Digital Photography in Atlantic University, he has been part of various film projects and has been awarded a few times, one of the prizes granting him a scholarship to study film in EICAR, Paris, France.
