After ten years at boarding school in England, she tried several different jobs before becoming a secondary school teacher. She taught for six years before becoming a full-time writer.\n\nHer first publication was a horror story entitled Express Delivery’ in 2001. She began writing novels, and six of these were published by Leisure Books.
