As a playwright, Sofya’s work has been developed in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. Her play flinching is currently being developed by the Hearth for an LA premiere. She was  a 2018-2019 Jerome Fellow and 2019-2022 Core Writer at the Playwrights’ Center in Minneapolis and is an alum of the Obie Award winning collective EST\u002FYoungblood. She is a MacDowell Fellow and has been in residence at Barn Arts, and TOFTE Lake.
