Desde que ganó ambos premios, Carrey continuó protagonizando comedias, entre ellas How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Bruce Almighty (2003), Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), A Christmas Carol (2009), y Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011). I Love You Phillip Morris (2009).
