There, he played lead roles in productions such as *Linie 1* and *Baal*, among others. From 1987 onwards, he was engaged at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, where he appeared in productions such as *Die Wupper*, *Michael Kramer*, *Die Reichsgründer*, and *Long Day's Journey into Night*. In 1990, he played the Fool in *King Lear* alongside Marianne Hoppe.\n\nSubsequent theater engagements took him to venues including the Schauspiel Bonn and the Volkstheater Wien. Since 2007, Seifert has been a member of the ensemble at the Berliner Ensemble, where he has performed in numerous roles, including those of Hitler, Eichmann, and Veit Tümpel. During this time, he collaborated with directors such as Heiner Müller and Claus Peymann.\n\nIn addition to his theater work, Seifert has appeared regularly before the camera since the 1990s.
